ngDesk is a free, cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) platform that combines automated ticketing and multi-channel support to help streamline and improve your customer support process.

Like its competitors, ngDesk has many standard features such as lead management, deals/opportunities tracker and storage, reporting dashboards, and sales cycle reports. However, it does lack many important features including suite and third-party integrations, shared team email, kanban visualization, a mobile app, and the ability to send bulk emails – all of which can be found in our top-ranked free CRM software, Hubspot and Freshsales.

In terms of capability, ngDesk is comparable to other free CRM software, Capsule and Really Simple Systems. Really Simple Systems has a few more features than ngDesk, including integration with Outlook 365 and Zapier. However, ngDesk is fully customizable, allowing your business to scale without the need to pay for a premium plan, as with the aforementioned platforms. It also has an application programming interface (API) for developers.

Aside from its excellent ticketing system, ngDesk offers a range of uncommon features, such as ad management, multi-pipeline support, sales campaign management, and email metrics.

This software may not be able to integrate with your social media or payroll platforms off the bat, but for a completely free cloud-based platform, it is easy-to-use and has most of the requirements to enhance your customer support initiatives.
