Compared to competitors Phone.com and Jive Voice, FreedomVoice's plans are reasonably priced, starting at just $9.95 per month for 400 minutes, an entire $3.00 more than Phone.com, which only offers 300 minutes per month. FreedomVoice also offers comprehensive voicemail and call management features, including voicemail Q&A, transcription, and email delivery.

- Great for employees who are frequently traveling or on-the-go.
- FreedomVoice also offers a powerful mobile app that effortlessly compliments all Cloud Plans and comes equipped with all features.
- A WebLink is available, allowing users to easily access their account from any location.
While FreedomVoice does offer a wide selection of features, the more advanced features require an additional monthly fee. These additional fees could result in high monthly fees. In addition, FreedomVoice does not offer 24/7 customer support and their times are not suitable for businesses that operate through the night or in different time zones.
Overall, we found many user reviews that complimented FreedomVoice's great customer support, accessibility, and ease of use. However, more than five users highlighted the poor faxing capabilities and occasional network failure. In addition, a couple users complained about receiving a bill months after canceling their plan.

I use FreedomVoice for our business phone system, but their system is horrible. We have it set to ring on all of our phones at once, but it rings on my partners phone a good 15 seconds before it starts ringing on mine. Also, it takes a while to even start ringing on mine.It happens often that we get a call coming in, we instantly pick it up, and then they hang up. The only reason I can imagine for that is that they're waiting too long, and if FreedomVoice is losing us calls that we're putting money into getting, then it's like we're double losing money.
Using Vonage Business, switched from FreedomVoice ~2 years ago. Easy interface and customer service is pretty good. Only complaint I have is, sometimes when I need to talk to customer service I call the general support line and they transfer me 3 different times to get to business service.
I tried Gotvmail and other toll free services. They're pretty expensive even when you barely use the line. The trick is that most charge you twice when you answer an inbound call. This is called double-leg billing and it really added up. I used other services that didn't charge double-legged billing, but their ploy was that you lose your prepaid minutes if they aren't used within a few months. I switched to FreedomVoice.com and have been happy with it because I was able to buy a plan for up to 1000 mins per month and there's no double-leg billing. I have it set to call my mobile phone and if I don't answer, it goes to my answering service.
