PayDirt Payroll offers most standard features with the exception of deductions, email support, and automatic payments. Clients will also enjoy features such as garnishments and mobile access.

Compared to a closely ranked service provided by Accent HRP, which has a higher service fee, PayDirt offers more features like unlimited payrolls and built-in timesheets.

Our top-rated software solution, Gusto, starts at $39.00 plus $6.00 per employee per month, compared to PayDirt Payroll's one-time fee of $1,550.00 for their Pro package. Gusto offers more services, like W-2 and 1099 preparation, minimum wage adjustments on tip credit, FICA tip credit for restaurants, workers' compensation, contractor payments, flexible payment schedules, multiple pay schedules, unlimited payrolls, bonus and off-cycle payrolls, integrated pre-tax benefits, reimbursements, new hire reporting, accounting, time-tracking and expense integrations, paperless employee onboarding, and lifetime accounts, to name a few.

Overall, PayDirt offers all the basic services needed for payroll, as well as a few extra features. If these features work for your needs, and your business is based in Canada, a one-time payment might be good for long term budgets.
