As a booking software, Waitwhile lacks the capabilities of many of its competitors. Key functions that are missing from the software include the ability to process online payments, a built-in POS system, staff management, payroll, inventory management, and social media integration.

Pros:

• Waitwhile offers a free plan for up to 100 appointments or waitlists per month.
• The virtual waitlist function gives your clients the freedom to arrive only when it's their turn.
• Clients can join the waitlist via the mobile app, online, in person, or by text message.
• Book appointments yourself or allow your clients to schedule their own appointments.
• The software automatically sends confirmation SMSs, emails, and reminders for scheduled appointments.
• Find out how your business is doing with detailed analytics that can be sorted by time period, location, service, or employee.
• Waitwhile stores customer data so you can create customized marketing campaigns and reward programs.
• Choose how you want to interact with customers. Communication options include email, push message, SMS, or voice note.
• Waitwhile integrates with a host of software applications including Google Calendar, SurveyMonkey, and Square POS.

Cons:

• The software does not support direct POS payments or online payments.
• Unlike many other scheduling software suites, Waitwhile does not offer shift management or payroll support.
