Pros and Cons:

Pros

  • Excellent image quality.
  • Good night vision.
  • Advanced features.

Cons

  • Expensive.
  • Difficult to set up.

Review:

The Microseven 1080P HD 20X offers some impressive features, such as 20x optical zoom, a 360° pan and 90° tilt function, and an exceptional night vision range of 328 ft., but can be difficult to set up and use. The Microseven 20X also has a hefty price tag, making its value very dependent on features other brands do not offer.

Unless a night vision range of more than 300 ft. and a 20X optical zoom are crucial to your security needs, there are certainly more affordable and user-friendly options with other advanced features.

Highlights:

  • Pan-tilt-zoom function (360° pan, 0°-90° tilt, and 20X optical zoom).
  • Impressive night vision range of 328 feet.

Shortcomings:

  • Difficult to set up and learn.

Reputation:

Microseven's 1080P HD camera with a 20X optical zoom has, similar to the Microseven (2019) 1080P HD camera, received mixed reviews on Amazon, with both models achieving a rating of only 3.5 out of 5 stars. There are very few reviews of the Microseven 1080P HD 20X. While the camera is described as very powerful, the setup and software demand a steep learning curve.

Microseven 1080P HD 20X vs. Arlo Q
Microseven 1080P HD 20X vs. Arlo Q:

The Microseven 1080p HD 20X has a far greater night vision range than the Arlo Q, but, unlike the Arlo Q, the Microseven is also designed for outdoor use, where the ability to capture footage at greater distances is more relevant. Between the two, the Arlo Q is more affordable and easier to set up and use, presenting the better option for indoor use.

Microseven 1080P HD 20X vs. Logitech Circle 2
Microseven 1080P HD 20X vs. Logitech Circle 2:

While the Microseven has an impressive night vision range of up to 328 ft. (vs. 15 ft.) and allows the user to get a 360° view with its pan function, it costs almost 3x what the Logitech Circle 2 costs and is more difficult to set up and use. For small to mid-sized property surveillance, the Logitech offers better value for money.
