How do I install OpenCATS?

  1. Download XAMPP.
  2. Install XAMPP.
  3. Download OpenCATS-0.9.4-full (You cannot install this yet).
  4. Go to the folder where the OpenCATS-0.9.4-full.zip file is located.
  5. RIGHT-CLICK on the OpenCATS-0.9.4-full.zip file.
  6. Select Extract All.
  7. Change the folder that the files will be extracted to, to: C:\xampp\htdocs.
  8. Select Extract.
  9. Start Xampp.
  10. Select the Windows start button and type xampp.
  11. Hit enter to open the XAMPP control panel.
  12. On the right side of Apache and MySQL, select Start for each one.
  13. Stop the apache service (lower right corner, right click XAMPP, stop apache).
  14. Start the apache service.
