  • Basic and Standard plans are affordable.
  • Quick turnaround time.
  • Provides multiple plans to choose from.
  • Good customer service.

Cons

  • High cost for large publications.
  • Basic and Standard plans include a White Label.
  • No press release writing service.
  • Not suited for startups and small businesses.

Review:

Linking News is a great service that effectively helps manage and automate press release processes. With this service, businesses can rest assured that their press releases reach both national and international news outlets, bloggers, and social media influencers.

Highlights:

  • Linking News has a quick turnaround time (24-48 hours).
  • Businesses of varying sizes can choose from multiple plans.
  • Linking News's Basic and Standard plans offer competitive prices, with its entry-level plan costing significantly less than top competitor eReleases.
  • Linking News has an impressive network of news outlets to distribute to, such as ABC, CBS Network, USA Today, and Associated Press, among others.
  • For businesses that require extensive social media coverage, Linking News provides access to 90 million social media influencers.
  • VIP plan includes international distribution.

Shortcomings:

While Linking News has an impressive list of distribution services, its feature-rich plans with advanced distribution channels are more expensive than competitors like EIN Presswire and 24-7pressreleases.com. With steep prices, its clear that Linking News is not ideal for small teams and startups with a tight budget.

Reputation:

Linking News is not listed on the Better Business Bureau website and the company has limited reviews available online. We did find 8 reviews on G2 which received an average of 5 stars.

The vast majority of reviews were positive, with many highlighting the excellent quality of press releases and professional customer service. However, reviewers also noted the lack of customization and robust editing capabilities.

Gold.

The Gold plan costs $1,680.00, an entire $1,011.00 more than the Silver plan, but it includes distribution to over 400 sites, including Associated Press, Yahoo News, and USA Today.
