Review:

openMAINT is a great, open-source facility and property maintenance management platform suitable for businesses of all sizes and includes key maintenance management features, such as work orders, reports, inventory management, and preventive maintenance. It is a ready-to-use solution that nonetheless still allows for some configurations of the modules.

Highlights:

Access to openMAINT's CMMS features is completely free and there are no limitations on access, number of users, or number of facilities. openMAINT features an in-depth inventory management module and also facilitates the forwarding of work orders to the correct teams or suppliers.

Shortcomings:

While openMAINT provides users with access to online forums and videos as well as email support, access to support services, assistance, upgrades, bug fixes, mobile app, and a self-service portal require an annual subscription.

Reputation:

openMAINT is not accredited with the Business Better Bureau. Also, SoftwareAdvice has only collected 3 customer reviews for openMAINT with an average rating of 3.67 out of 5 stars. These customers have positively reviewed openMAINT as a feature-rich and flexible tool with a good support team that helps you with customizations. However, all three customers said it was difficult to install the software.

Pricing:

openMAINT is free, open-source software. You can download the latest version for free on their website.

openMAINT does feature a paid annual subscription for advanced features, like the Mobile APP, and Maintenance Support. However, pricing for the annual subscription is dependant on several factors, such as business size and selected support services, so you will need to contact openMAINT for a quote. They also offer a pay-per-use Customizations and Developments Support package.
