Arlo 720P HD Security Camera System Reviews:
I have Arlo Cameras that work very well in a wireless environment. They integrate well with my Smarttings environment.
I have Nest and Arlo. I was all set to ditch my Nest Cams when I tried to switch from monitoring the Arlos on my computer to watching on my phone app and realized you can't switch between devices. Two devices cannot sign on at the same time from the same account. You just get an error message from the second device and no way to boot the first device. As far as I can tell, you would have to make a guest account for each device. Also, when viewing from a web browser, the Arlo's log themselves out fairly often compared to Nest, which never logs out once I set it to save the password. These are both reflective of tighter security from Netgear but I switch between 4 devices daily and it's inconvenient. That said, in every other way, I prefer Arlo.
My time to shine! The software has a bug for some people. You will get a notification saying something like "No internet connection." This will happen despite being able to see the camera working on the app. This message will happen 1-10 times a day and make an audible noise unless you mute the application. But if you mute it then what would be the point of having it? Arlo has had this problem for about a year and has not had any solution on how to fix it.
