Republic Wireless is an American cell phone carrier that uses WiFi to provide a virtual network to customers through their cell phone plans. Republic Wireless uses T-Mobile and Sprint coverage when WiFi is unavailable. Some small businesses choose Republic Wireless because it is one of the most affordable cell phone options on the market.
All Republic Wireless plans start at just $15.00 per month for unlimited talk and text, with an additional $5.00 per gigabyte of data.
Pros: Comparably cheaper price plans.
Cons: No family plan option.
Bottomline: Republic Wireless is an excellent option for low data users.

Been customer since beta days. service and cost are the best. you will not find a better phone service.
It’s been the most affordable option for the last 4-5 years for my family. And I’m sad, yet happy to say our Verizon SIM cards should arrive Wednesday. Sprint is the absolute worst cell carrier. So many missed calls, texts, and areas with no service at all... I recently acquired a company phone with sprint service and was looking forward to comparing service using a brand new IPhone with what we’ve experienced with Android on Republic... and now I know for certain... it’s not just some hiccups in the Republic system, it’s your carrier. Awful. My wife and I have both received new SIM cards to try and resolve service issues to no avail. Sprint and T-Mobile want to merge? It just means you’ll have a larger company that sucks more. $50 a month with republic for two lines with 1gb of data each... or $75 for 2 lines with 1gb each with Verizon for $75... I’m not sure how Republic can remain viable as the gap closes on savings between a major carrier and themselves when service is not comparable.
Good service, good prices, and a great camera on my phone!
