We didn't really know where to start, and we didn't have the time to learn the ins and outs of writing and distributing press releases. We contacted prMac and signed up for their writing and distribution service. They quickly engaged with us - taking initiative to learn about our product and our market. They helped us turn some basic statements about our company and our product into a full fledged press release. The end result was a very successful press release that helped our product gain visibility. PrMac was extremely professional, and they showed a genuine interest in helping us succeed. I strongly recommend prMac to anyone who needs writing or distribution of press releases, and we will definitely use them in the future.

We tried PRMac. It was a waste of money. The only thing we got in return was spam.

We used “Extended Distribution” of PRMac couple of times to promote our “Exif Viewer” App. It costs $19.95 (at time of writing). Release 1: Traffic/Sales was improved by 5X within a day PR Went out and after couple of days. It was back to Normal. Release 2: Since this was press release about 2.99$ to FREE price drop. Download count was improved even further. Overall, we are happy with what PRMac is doing. would use them again in future.

For iOS apps, prmac.com has worked for us - they have paid as well as a basic, free version of their press releases - reaching journalists, media, review sites, consumer forums etc. Press releases can lead to review requests by mainstream media and journalists.
