I use HealthKit - they take a decent cut for payment processing and a small fee for bulk billing but it does mean that you only have the payment talk once with the client at initial session. As I’m only in private practice part time I find the fees reasonable compared to getting a free standing eftpos machine and far less hassle. The system will also auto send sms reminders which drastically reduces no-shows and late cancellations.
I use Healthkit too, but use different software for taking appointments. Clients can self-book and I am able to gather important information prior to the first appt (Medicare details, next of kin etc).
