I use Canva at my job (marketing department). Canva makes collaboration with others on my team (who aren’t graphic designers) so much easier. I clean photos and make custom graphics in GIMP, but my marketing materials are designed in Canva and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the results from our printer. The templates are great, frames save me time, tons of inspiration to look through, and access to free/royalty free stock photos is beyond priceless. I just finished a seven page brochure this week. The quality is perfect. I didn’t need to fuss with the resolution or placement like some other programs. I’d say, it’s worth giving Canva a try.

Canva is super simple, it's a great app for quick graphic design and text.Photoshop you will actually have to learn if u want to get good with it because there's just sooo much you can do with it. But if you're tech savvy you'll pick up the basics with ease!

Canva is excellent, but you don't have freedom in creating your own ads as you have in Photoshop. With Photoshop only limit that you have is your imagination.
