We use Ackerman Security and while we haven't had any break ins, they are always quick to respond whenever we accidentally set it off.

Ackerman Security - I've used them for a year now and have always had a quick call for our alarms. They also are quick to respond to maintenance requests/callouts and when we had 1 customer service issue it was quickly and professionally resolved with a free 3 months of monitoring. Their reviews are great too. Not to mention, the price is right if you just need monitoring.

We use Ackerman. They're pretty good. Affordable too. They call within a few seconds usually if I accidentally set off the alarm.

I use Ackerman Security. No landline required, can arm/disarm from my phone. Response time (phone calls & police response) has been good when alarm has gone off - all false alarms luckily. Also I own the equipment - not leased.

I've only used Ackerman Security, so I can't really compare them to other companies. However, for the times we have accidentally set off our alarm over the past 14 years, they have always called within 1 minute, and usually in about 15 to 20 seconds. So they have a pretty fast response time. It is also easy to call them and have a temporary note added to our account to indicate when we will be away so that the Police will be called first and then our cell phones next if an intrusion alarm goes off.
